What is happening with Madeleine McCann?
Though the case has been cold for many years, it came back into the news when images of Ghislaine Maxwell surfaced with a sketch of the person of interest thanks to TikTok and Reddit conspiracy theorists. The resemblance left many Reddit users feeling ‘creeped out’ by the similarities, a brown-haired woman between 30 and 35 and described as “a bit of a Victoria Beckham lookalike.”
One said: “This is the weirdest thing I’m literally getting chills.”
Investigator Dave Edgar was hired by the McCanns and found witnesses that identified the woman because of something she said to a British man in Barcelona 72 hours after Madeleine went missing from her family’s holiday apartment in Portugal.
But nothing ever came of the conspiracy. Now a Polish woman named Julia Faustyna Wandelt has come forward with strange claims about her childhood, claiming to be Madeleine McCann.
Who Are Julia Faustyna Parents
So just who are Julia Faustyna Parents and what are their thoughts on their daughter’s claims? Julia is known by three surnames: Faustyna, Wendell, and Wandelt. Her parents are not cooperative in the least bit,
Her parents refused a DNA test. Her mother refuses to talk about that past, while her father told her “what difference would it make anyway if the DNA came back and he wasn’t her biological father.”
There is also a link to a German child abuser, which is rarely discussed but her family.

Just like Madeleine, Julia also has an eye defect called coloboma. You can see it in both of the girl’s photos. This is a rare birth defect that affects 1 in 10,000 births. This is one of the reasons that a DNA test was ordered for Julia.
“I have a defect in my eye, in the same eye, the kind of defect Madeleine had. Except that in my case it’s faded more and more every year,” she claimed.
The shape of her face, including the gap between her teeth, are the same as Madeleine’s.
Faustyna’s representative, psychic medium, and private investigator Dr. Fia Johansson, told 7NEWS.com.au Faustyna is definitely “not doing this for publicity”. “Because, when I’m talking to her … she’s crying and saying, ‘I just need to understand the truth, all I want is for my mum and dad to do the DNA test with me’,” Johansson said.
Julia claims that she is Madeleine based on something that was said to her by her grandmother. Some strange bits – her parents wouldn’t give her a copy of her birth certificate. She doesn’t remember much of her childhood but one memory that is vivid for her is that when she was little she was on holiday with her parents somewhere hot, in white buildings. The apartments the McCanns were staying at were in fact white. She also shares a number of physical resemblances.

Madeleine McCann would be 19 years old, and Julia is 21. However, Julia believes that her parents lied to her about her age and there is no birth certificate to prove anything.
