In the wake of scandalous sexual assault allegations
UFC Champion Conor McGregor, 34, took a beach break with his pregnant fiancée, Dee Devlin, 35. The power couple, who have been together since 2018, appeared carefree and united, posting a series of candid snaps on social media.
The allegations that rocked their family last month accuse Conor of sexually assaulting a woman in a restroom during the NBA Finals in Miami, Florida. McGregor, backed by his legal team, strenuously denies these claims, with his attorney Barbara R. Llanes dismissed them as ‘no more than a shakedown.’
In a show of solidarity, Devlin flew to the Big Apple to stand by Conor following the surfacing of the allegations. Their beach break with children Conor Jr., Croia Mairhead, and Rian – aged six, four, and two respectively – comes as the couple tries to move forward amidst the controversy.
McGregor’s 15-year relationship with Devlin, a journey that began in a nightclub, has previously weathered similar storms. The “Notorious” UFC fighter faced multiple allegations of sexual assault in 2019 and 2020 in his home country of Ireland and in Corsica, France. An additional allegation from 2021 pertains to an incident that allegedly took place in 2018. The former accusation involved an alleged assault on a yacht in Ibiza. Despite these numerous claims, McGregor has yet to face legal charges and maintains his innocence.
In the midst of the controversy, Devlin and McGregor recently announced both their engagement and their expectation of a fourth child. The couple, who met in Dublin in 2008, reside with their children in Las Vegas.
McGregor’s most recent scandal involves an alleged violent assault that took place in Miami. He stands accused of forcing a woman to perform oral sex on him and attempting to sodomize her following Game 4 of the NBA Finals. The accuser’s legal team argues that the assault took place after McGregor had caused a ruckus by knocking out the Miami Heat mascot.
A video that later surfaced appears to show McGregor leading the alleged victim into the restroom with his security entourage guarding the door. A statement from the Miami Police Department confirms that the Special Victims Unit is investigating a report filed on Sunday, June 11, 2023.
McGregor, in his defense, insists that the claims are false and motivated by financial gain. He also promises to fully cooperate with the ongoing investigation. According to legal demand letters, the woman alleges that McGregor’s security summoned her to the VIP men’s restroom where the alleged assault took place.
While this story continues to unfold, the unity displayed by McGregor and Devlin provides a contrasting narrative to the allegations that continue to circle the UFC Champion. The couple’s attempt to maintain normalcy amid such serious claims speaks to their resilience.
The truth remains to be determined as the investigation continues.
